Tourism Winnipeg has launched a brand new website with the hopes of attracting more visits and economic dollars to the city.
The website now boasts new technology and multi-market content, with features that allow users to search by type of experience and interest, build custom itineraries, and explore curated content on all of Winnipeg’s tourism assets, such as restaurants, hotels, and attractions.
User-generated content is infused throughout the website, offering dynamic and authentic images that will constantly refresh, telling the story of Winnipeg through an unlimited number of first-hand accounts. It also features a responsive element for mobile and tablet visitors.
“As the modern traveler continues to evolve, it is critical our website stays relevant and functional to them. Over half of our visits come from mobile and tablet users, and we’re so excited to offer responsive design and further integration of social media,” says Cody Chomiak, Director of Marketing for Tourism Winnipeg.
TourismWinnipeg.com receives 800,000 annual visits and 3,000,000 annual page views. It is a one-stop-shop for upcoming events, attractions, inspirational itineraries, neighbourhoods, performing arts, culinary and more.
